2 Days Overdue...

This is getting ridiculous. The midwife (Donna for you locals who know her) told us that there was only a 15-20% chance of going into labor before my due date...but that did not deter us from hoping. Actually we were really closer to convinced that Noah was going to show up early for some reason. Well we're 2 days past my due date now and Noah is determined to show us who's boss. Matt says he's just too comfortable in his hot tub - pray that he decides to introduce himself soon!! The picture is from Easter - he could have been an Easter baby, but now the next closest holiday is April Fools - knowing the family he's joining I wouldn't put it past him to show up then, but I'm still praying for earlier!

Ready and waiting...

We made it through our date night Saturday night with out an early appearance from our little man. (Date night consisted of a movie - Vantage Point, and dinner at Dave's...great movie, great food and great company!) Now that we had our final weekend, I am SO ready to get this labor thing done. On Sunday I thought that was the day...yesterday I thought that may be the day...and today I am trying to make it today. I just went on a nice brisk walk to Smokin' Pig to get some amazing bbq. For those that don't know, Smokin Pig is GREAT food, and I thought that Noah may be so excited after eating a big bbq sandwich with a fried pickle that he would jump right on out. So I finished the sandwich about 10 minutes ago and am just waiting now. Cassy (coworker slash big fan of Noah and fried pickles) wants me to start doing jumping jacks to see if that will get the little guy moving. I haven't gotten that desperate yet, but we'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow if Noah decides to keep holding out on us.

Aunt Rachel's getting married...

The first weekend in March Monica and Linda threw Rachel a lovely wedding shower. For those that were up to it we had a little bachelorette party for her that evening as well. (No worries Geoff - Noah was the only boy allowed at either party.) Rachel got lots of fun gifts and plenty of good advice as well. Noah is excited for his Aunt Rachel's big day - it'll be the first time he'll get to meet lots of his family!
